Iraq's foreign minister says Arab countries have been unable to agree on a unified statement about the Gaza Strip following Israel's devastating three-week offensive.
Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari says Arab foreign ministers preparing a final statement for an Arab economic summit in Kuwait City could not agree on Gaza because "some are entrenched in their positions."
Zebari spoke Tuesday on state-owned Kuwait Television.
The crisis in Gaza has divided Arab countries into two camps - those who support Hamas and more moderate US allies that have sought to pressure the group.
