ISIS destroys Syrian satellite dishes in bid to ban 'un-Islamic' TV during Ramadan

According to the terror organization, satellite TV channels are administered by "apostates who spread lies and distort the image of Islam."

Ahead of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, ISIS released a video showing the organization's militants demolishing satellite dishes in the Syrian city of Raqqa in order to prevent Muslims from consuming 'un-Islamic' content during the holy month.
On Wednesday, the ISIS branch in Raqqa released a 14-minute video titled "destroy equipment with satellite connection."
According to the terror organization, satellite TV channels are administered by " apostates who spread lies and distort the image of Islam."
In the video, an ISIS jihadist addresses Muslims asking them: "How many videos released by ISIS have you let into your home? How many times have you listened to Abu Muhammad al-Adnani (ISIS Spokesman) or to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ISIS leader)?
"The answer is embarrassing. Most of the houses would rather listen to their enemies by watching shows produced by traitors. The distorted reality these channels depict jams the free thinking of Muslims," the jihadist said.
The video was concluded with a scene showing the Hisbah (ISIS religious police demolishing) satellite dishes during a public gathering in Raqqa.
On Tuesday, ISIS religious police in Raqqa issued a statement calling all citizens to destroy their televisions or hand them over to it before Ramadan begins.
