Jordanian authorities released from custody on Saturday two Israeli nationals who were arrested in Amman on Wednesday on suspicion of trade fraud of foreign currencies.
The two were returned to Israel.
It remained unclear how investigations of the case would proceed.
According to a Jordanian police source, the two were caught carrying suitcases holding large sums of money.
They claimed that they intended to exchange the money for Iraqi dinars for investment purposes, according to Army Radio.
Local police had been investigating the two along with a British national on suspicion of laundering money in the Hashemite kingdom.
