Lebanon asks UNIFIL to help re-mark 'Blue Line'
Lebanon has requested UNIFIL's help in renewing markings of sections of the "Blue Line" - the border drawn by the United Nations after Israel's withdrawal from south Lebanon in 2000, Israel Radio reported on Saturday night.
Reportedly, sections of the markings were removed during the clashes between Israel and Hizbullah in the summer and Lebanese President Emile Lahoud claimed that Israel was likely use the absence of these markings to encroach into Lebanese territory.
