Nasrallah: Hizbullah not operating cells outside of Lebanon

Hizbullah chief Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah denied a report alleging the group was operating a terror cell in Egypt, Al-Manar quoted him as saying early Friday morning. Nasrallah denied that the group was managing factions in any country other than Lebanon. On Thursday, Egyptian officials claimed that Cairo had recently thwarted a spate of Hizbullah-backed terrorist attacks, including some targeting Sinai tourist sites popular with Israelis. It is holding 49 people suspected of plotting the attacks, of bidding to smuggle weapons into Gaza and of spreading Shi'ite ideology on behalf of Hizbullah, the officials said.
