Palestinian Authority FM: No progress in peace talks with Israel

The Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister
Riad al-Malki says peace talks with Israel are showing no progress.
Malki says the Palestinian president will ask for "clear, solid" American intervention when he meets with US President George W. Bush in Washington next week.
Israelis and Palestinians launched formal peace talks five months ago at a US-hosted conference. Since then, the FM says there's been no improvement on the ground. He told foreign journalists on Thursday that Israel has failed to lift roadblocks, halt settlement expansion, release prisoners and stop West Bank military raids.
Malki says the Palestinians are "totally disappointed" with the lack of progress in the peace talks. He says the situation is undermining moderate Palestinian leaders in the eyes of their own people.
