Gunmen broke into the house of a Shiite family northeast of Baghdad on Saturday, killing 13 people, police said.
The attack happened in Buhriz, about 60 kilometers north of Baghdad, provincial police said. The town, a Sunni-insurgent stronghold, has seen repeated sectarian strife.
