Report: Spanish FM suggests int'l summit to bring down Hamas in Gaza

Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos has suggested that world nations hold a conference to try and find ways to bring down Hamas's regime in the Gaza Strip, Army Radio reported Wednesday. According to the report, Moratinos spoke with Israeli leaders on Tuesday of a summit that would include Israel, the US, the EU, Jordan and Egypt. Moratinos expressed concern that Hamas would be strengthened should Hizbullah take control of Lebanon, and may be emboldened to attempt a takeover of the West Bank as well.
