Thousands turn out in West Bank to support Abbas

Thousands of Palestinians are streaming into the West Bank town of Nablus in a strong show of support for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The rally is taking place as Abbas's Fatah movement and Gaza's Hamas rulers prepare to launch reconciliation talks in Egypt. Rally organizers from Fatah say more than 50,000 people have already arrived in Nablus. Many in the crowd Wednesday were carrying yellow Fatah flags and red, white, green and black Palestinian flags.
