Britain's military says a soldier has been found dead in southern Iraq with a gunshot wound to his head. It says no enemy forces were involved.
Britain's Ministry of Defense says the body of a soldier serving with 9 Regiment Army Air Corps was discovered Thursday morning and there was no evidence suggesting anyone else was involved.
The military says it is investigating the death and the soldier's next of kin have been informed. It says no further details will be immediately released.
