According to police, four police and Border Police officers were injured from stones thrown at them in several eastern neighborhoods of the city, including Silwan, Issawiya, Ras a-Mud, Shuafat and at the Kalandia checkpoint. One officer was evacuated to hospital for treatment while the others were treated on the scene. All were listed in light condition.Eleven Palestinians were injured throughout the day, according to the Red Crescent, while police put the number of Palestinian injuries at five. Among those injured, Palestinian sources reported, was a 17-year-old who was in serious condition after being shot in his shoulder. Police contended that he was in light condition and said they were investigating the circumstances of the incident.The disturbances began following Friday prayers in Jerusalem.Elsewhere, a disturbance was reported near Ramallah where Palestinians were throwing stones and blocking a road.
