By JPOST.COM STAFFIsraelis have shown a preference for adopting light-colored animals from shelters, the ISPCA, Israel Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals, says.As a result, the organization has begun a new push against the discrimination of animals with black and darker fur, reminding people that all animals are created equal.Additionally, the ISPCA will hold a special Tu B'Av (the Jewish festival of love) celebration for animals this year, starting on August 11th, to remind people that animals deserve love too.
