According to an IDF spokeswoman, some 50 Palestinians were throwing stones in the area of the Kalandia checkpoint between Jerusalem and Ramallah. She said IDF soldiers were responding with crowd dispersal methods.
The IDF also reported that there were some 130 Palestinians throwing stones in Beitunia, 30 in Kadum and the same number in Hebron. In all cases the IDF was using crowd dispersal methods, according to the spokeswoman.
Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that several Palestinians were wounded, however, the IDF could not confirm this.
The news agency additionally reported clashes between IDF soldiers and Palestinians at the eastern main entrance of the town of al-Ram, northeast of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that clashes had broken out at the Temple Mount, where right-wing Israel activists had reportedly tried to enter the compound, leading to scuffles with Palestinians at the holy site.
