Feiglin: Netanyahu barred me from Temple Mount

Likud MK says the prime minister has no legal authority to prevent his access to the holy site.

Likud MK Moshe Feiglin was prevented access to Temple Mount on Monday after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly prohibited his entrance to the holy site.
"Several minutes ago I received a phone call from Commander Moshe Bareket who informed me that due to a direct order of the prime minister, I will not be allowed entrance to the [Temple] Mount tomorrow," Feiglin wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
"The prime minister has no legal authority to give such an order, as it contradicts three Basic Laws," Feiglin wrote.
Feiglin noted the Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty (1992) that grants any person the freedom of movement, Basic Law: The Knesset (1958) that give immunity to any MK, and Basic Law: Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel (1980) that grants any person the freedom of access to holy sites.
In March, Feiglin wrote to Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. Yohanan Danino complaining that a police officer prevented his access to the Temple Mount because the place is under Muslim rule. The commissioner wrote back saying any entrance of non-Muslims to the site needs to be coordinated with the Waqf.
