Thousands of mourners in the Beduin village of Kuseifeh bid farewell on Monday to three brothers who drowned on Thursday off the coast of Ashkelon.The Sarayah brothers, Nahad, 26, Suleiman, 19, and Atef, 16, were buried next to one another in a village cemetery, days after a massive search effort was launched after they went missing on Thursday.The failed rescue effort included helicopters and rescue divers, with a command center set up on the beach. Dozens of family members sat vigil under a tent waiting for any sign of the brothers, until their bodies were finally found on Saturday and Sunday.The three brothers had gone swimming during a family outing at Ashkelon's Dalila beach, on a stretch of the coast without a lifeguard that was closed for swimming.On Tuesday, the Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonivich, will join the heads of the Police Southern District on a condolence call to the Sarayah family.
