IDF wounds Palestinian rioters north of Ramallah

Riot takes place in Jalazoun refugee camp two days after a man from the camp was killed by IDF fire.

An IDF official said that ten Palestinians were injured on Friday when the army dispersed a riot in the Jalazoun refugee camp near Ramallah. The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that one Palestinian was injured by IDF live gunfire and was evacuated by the Red Crescent to hospital. 
According to Palestinian news agency Ma'an the riot took place to mark two days since the IDF killed Muhammad Mubarak who was from the Jalazoun. 
According to the IDF, Mubarak was shot dead after he opened fire at an army post on Wednesday, however the the Palestinian Information Ministry said the man had been unarmed and had been holding a stick or rod he was using to direct traffic.
The IDF Spokesperson said that around 200 Palestinian demonstrators took part in the Friday riot which was violent and illegal. The IDF said that Molotov cocktails and stones were thrown at the soldiers.
One of the rioters threw a Molotov cocktail at a soldier who felt that his life was in danger so he fired back and hit the rioter with a live bullet, the IDF said.
Ma'an said that sixteen Palestinians were injured and and that the individual injured by live fire was shot in the neck and was taken to hospital in critical condition.  
Meanwhile,farther south on Friday, the IDF injured a Palestinian on the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip following a disturbance in the area, an IDF spokesperson confirmed.
According to the spokesperson, around 100 Palestinians gathered in a security zone along the fence when IDF forces called for them to disperse and fired warning shots in the air.
