Ikea store goes up in flames, is completely destroyed

20 firefighting crews put out massive blaze; roof collapses and entire inventory reportedly incinerated; Aharonovitch arrives on the scene.

Firefighters managed to put out a large fire which destroyed the Ikea store in Netanya Saturday morning.
The store's building and entire stock of merchandise was reportedly destroyed in the blaze.

Through the early morning hours, crews from various areas battled the massive fire. Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch and the head of Ikea in Israel were also present at the scene of the fire.
The cause of the fire was unknown, but firefighters believe it began on the roof and spread.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
