Police on Wednesday detained several senior officials in the Kiryat Malachi Municipality on suspicion of carrying out sex crimes, extortion, bribery and fraud.According to suspicions, the suspects allegedly raped a female colleague in the municipality. The arrests came following an undercover investigation by the National Economic Crimes Unit. The suspects were scheduled to face a remand hearing at Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court on Tuesday afternoon.
