Thai foreign worker killed in tractor accident in south

Man crushed under vehicle is pronounced dead at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics.

A Thai foreign worker was killed on Friday afternoon after the tractor he was riding on turned over and crushed him.
The accident occurred in the village of Halutzit near Ashkelon.
Magen David Adom EMS said that the man in his thirties was pronounced dead at the scene. Omar Almhauei, an MDA paramedic said the man was found at the scene  not breathing and with no pulse.
Police have opened an investigation into the accident.
A similar accident occurred in August last year, a man in his forties was trapped under a tractor that turned over on Resh Galuta street in Tel Aviv. 
Around 22,000 Thai foreign workers that make up the bulk of migrant agricultural labor in Israel.
