Tu Bishvat is coming, and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Shimon Peres, KKL-JNF chairman Efi Stenzler and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat rolled up their sleeves on Wednesday and celebrated nature's day by planting trees. Netanyahu, Stenzler and Barkat added some green to the Nations Grove in the Jerusalem Forest, at the foot of the mountain upon which Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial sits.
"We are a link in the chain of generations. We returned to our country in order to stay here and strike root in the land," Netanyahu said.
