Israel Police anti-terror commandos raided an apartment building in Ashkelon on Wednesday, rescuing a four-year-old girl who was being held by her uncle who had barricaded himself in the house.
Around 3pm police received a call that a local man had taken his niece and barricaded himself inside of her parents house.
After around two hours of negotiations failed, officers sent in police from the YAMAM anti-terror unit, who raided the apartment, freeing the girl and taking the man into custody.

Police said the man was mentally disturbed and that he did not threaten the girl and that they believe that her life was not in danger.
