Woman, 46, moderately injured in stabbing near J'lem

Victim claims to have been attacked by 2 Arab men while hiking in Wadi near town of Mata; Shin Bet refuses to release further information.

A 46-year-old woman was discovered by passers-by near Jerusalem on Saturday with stab wounds to her chest and back.
The woman, who was found with her hands tied in the town of Mata, said that two Arab men stabbed her while she was hiking in a nearby Wadi.

MDA paramedics evacuated the woman to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in moderate condition. An MDA paramedic told Army Radio that the woman was conscious when found and remained so while receiving treatment.
Police were searching the area for suspects. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Service) refused to release further information on the incident.
