The Netanyahus adopted a ten-year-old rescue dog named Kaiya over the weekend.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday announced a new addition to the first family of Israel, posting to his facebook page a picture of the Netanyahu clan with their new dog Kaiya, a ten-year old rescue."Meet Kaiya, 10-years-old, a lovely dog that has fit in immediately with our family. When my son Avner heard that she was being put down, he asked if we could adopt Kaiya and save her life," Netanyahu wrote in the post, adding "Over the weekend we received her with warmth and love."
