Fox News called Jared 'Kosher' and the Internet is in stitches

US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and top White House aide Jared Kushner makes headlines on a daily, if not hourly, basis. The media has been keenly following the whereabouts, habits, meetings and public appearances of Kushner, who alongside wife Ivanka plays a pivotal role in the US administration. Kushner serves as a shadow diplomat and has been assigned by Trump to attempt what many have tried before- brokering a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.

Despite his significant position, it seems that media coverage revolving Kushner tends to focus on one main issue: Jared and wife Ivanka's habits as practicing Orthodox Jews. Kushner hails from an influential Jewish family, and Ivanka converted to Judaism. The two raise their daughters in a religious household, and images of them observing the Shabbat and Jewish holidays are all over the Internet.

So when news channel Fox mistakenly called Kushner 'Jared Kosher' in a news ticker on the morning broadcast "Fox and Friends" Wednesday morning, viewers of the show were quick to point out not just the error but the joke behind it.

A screenshot of the misspelling incident surfaced on Twitter within minutes to the amusements of multiple users.

While it's pretty obvious that the typo was committed in earnest, it does seem more like a Freudian slip than anything else, seeing as multiple media outlets have been known to question how devout Jared and Ivanka truly are when reports said that the two previously violated the holy rest day of Shabbat (once when they joined President Trump aboard the Air Force One on his maiden foreign trip and another time when they rode a car to leave Trump's inauguration ceremony, which took place on a Friday).

So perhaps Kushner can be pleased with this blunder and even thank Fox News for giving him the religious seal of approval. From now on, if anyone asks- Jared Kushner is 100% kosher.
