Jewish comedian Amy Schumer not laughing about magazine featuring her as 'plus-size'

The Jewish American entertainer known for her brazen antics slams 'Glamour' magazine for placing her in an issue entitled 'Chic at Any Size.'

Jewish American comedian and actress Amy Schumer has lashed out at popular magazine Glamour for featuring her in a special edition issue on 'plus-size' stars.
The blonde entertainer known for her brazen antics was seemingly not amused about her placement in the magazine's spread entitled "Chic at Any Size," which included Schumer along with celebrities Melissa McCarthey, Adele and Ashley Graham as "Women Who Inspire Us."
In an Instagram post Tuesday, Schumer explained that while she doesn't have anything against being plus-sized, she does not define herself as such.
"I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women," she said in the post.

Schumer, who boldly showed off her figure in a scantily-clad calendar shoot by Annie Leibovitz last year, added that the magazine's classification of her as plus-sized relayed a questionable message on body image to young girls.
"Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8," she pointed out.
"@glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me," she added, stressing that: "Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous."
The beauty and fashion magazine later apologized to Schumer, saying it not mean to offend her in any way.
