Singer wishes the couple a big mazel tov on stage in New York City

Two attendees at the Troye Sivan concert at Radio Music City Hall on Tuesday night had a very memorable show.At one point during the concert, Sivan, an Australian, gay Jewish singer, brought two men on stage.The pair, each wearing a kippa, appeared visibly excited, and Sivan proclaimed "a nice Jewish boy!" Then the singer turned to one half of the couple and said: "I would love to tell you that this was all just a happy accident, but, don't you have something to say?"And with that, one of the men pulled out a ring, dropped to one knee and proposed to his boyfriend, who, of course, said yes."Mazel tov" Sivan shouted, as the 6,000 fans packed into the concert hall roared with delight.Fans on Twitter were equally excited about the proposal."TWO GAY JEWS JUST GOT ENGAGED ONSTAGE AT TROYE SIVAN TRUMP IS DEFEATED," proclaimed comedian Matt Bellassai on Twitter.
Sivan, a 23-year-old singer and actor, grew up in a Jewish family in South Africa and then Australia. During an appearance on What What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last month, the singer said he had a hard time being away from his parents for Passover for the first time. So he hosted a Seder, and invited none other than Ariana Grande."My parents live in Australia, and this is my first Pesach alone,” he said. "So we had a little Passover, and it was star-studded, if I may say so myself.”
