Kristin Hersh to play in the White City US indie singer founded Throwing Muses • By AMY SPIRO Quirky singer-songwriter Kristin Hersh, who founded American indie rock band Throwing Muses in the 1980s and went on to a prolific solo career, will be performing in Israel for the first time on June 14 in Tel Aviv.
Hersh has release dozens of albums, including eight solo efforts. Her emotional and raw, but accessible music and unique vocals – that range from softly melodic to impassioned screaming – cemented a loyal cult following for Hersh over three decades.
After her show in Israel, Hersh will head to a series of shows around the United Kingdom, several of which are already sold out.
Tickets for the show at the Zappa Tel Aviv club are on sale via zappa-club.co.il and are being sold for NIS 154-164
