Soldiers suffer after air-conditioners fail in record-breaking heat
The electricity company reported that the all-time high for power usage reached 12,921 megawatts.

Reserve soldiers in an infantry battalion are complaining of harsh conditions on Wednesday after their air conditioners broke down due to record-breaking power consumption during a heatwave, Walla! news reported.The soldiers were forced to stay in unused tents because of the mishap, and 15 soldiers needed medical treatment due to dehydration.The electricity company reported that the all-time high for power usage reached 12,921 megawatts at 2:50 p.m due to the extreme weather conditions.The previous peak from September 2015 was 12,905 megawatts.
