A few days ahead of the Rosh Hashana holiday, Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom went holiday shopping with his wife Judy. The trip coincided with the renewed peace talks, Shalom said that he was not there to campaign but rather to listen to the people.
At the Hatikva market on Monday, Shalom inspected fruit, received holiday blessings, and reunited with some of his favorite merchants.
