Local Tennis: Amit Inbar wins first pro tournament
Inbar defeats fellow Israeli Ishai Hadash in Greece; both will play in the next round.
Amit Inbar won his first professional tournament, overcoming countryman Ishai Hadash 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the final of the Greek F1 Futures event in Kos on Sunday. Inbar, 21, earned 12 rankings points with the win, which should catapult him towards the 600 area - a career-high - from his current ranking of 728. Hadash (544) earned eight points, which will see him close in on the top 500. Both players, as well as teenager Victor Kolik, are scheduled to play this week at the Greek F2 Futures event in Syros.
