MK renews call for left-wing NGO investigative commission
MK Faina Kirschenbaum (Yisrael Beiteinu) said Sunday the initiative to establish a parliamentary committee to investigate the funding of left-wing NGOs should be renewed in the Knesset's summer session, Israel Radio reported.

According to Kirschenbaum, Judge Richard Goldstone's recent retractions of certain statements in his report on Operation Cast Lead give further precedence to investigate the organization that may have utilized the report's results.

The creation of two parliamentary investigative commissions were halted in the Knesset during the recent weeks after initiators felt the committees would not be approved by a Cabinet majority.
