Zuaretz: There's nothing preventing return to peace talks
MK Orit Zuaretz (Kadima), speaking at a Geneva Initiative seminar for Ethiopian social leaders on Saturday, told participants that there is no obstacle to negotiating with the Palestinians.

Zuaretz said that instead of becoming involved in internal Palestinian politics, Israel should be the one looking out for its own political and security interests. "If the  new [Palestinian] leadership is willing to accept the terms and principles put forward by the Quartet - recognizing Israel, acceptance of previous agreements, and denunciation of terrorism - then there is nothing preventing a return to negotiations and we cannot be the ones closing the door in [the Palestinians'] face," she said.
