Shots fired into Kabul protests against Koran burning

KABUL - Shots were fired into protesters in Kabul on Wednesday, and several people were wounded, during a second day of violent clashes after copies of the Koran, Islam's holy book, were burned at a major NATO air base, Reuters witnesses said.

Protesters had charged at police lines and smashed car windows.
