A Palestinian man stabbed and moderately wounded an Israeli boy at the Tapuah junction in Samaria on Tuesday afternoon.

The 17-year-old was rushed to the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.

The attacker, who police said hails from Ramallah, fled but was apprehended some 200 meters away by border police, who turned him over to police from the Samaria subdistrict for questioning.

At the same junction on Sunday night, Border Police arrested three men carrying explosives, a pistol and a knife. Police said the men, from the Balata refugee camp, adjacent to Nablus, were suspected of plotting to carry out a terrorist attack.
