Yachimovich sticks to her guns, will lead opposition
Following an hour-long meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich reiterated her decision not go join the coalition but to lead the opposition.

Yacimovich described the meeting as "interesting" but said that the gaps in perspective between their two parties regarding socio-economics and the Palestinian-Israel peace process were far too wide.

The Labor leader welcomed the announcement of US President Barack Obama's planned visit to Israel and said she hopes it will lead to a break-through in the peace process.
