Bennett approves price cut for subsidized bread

Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett, signed an order Tuesday reducing the price of subsidized bread, by a rate of 4.17%.

The order was set to be published and taken in effect in the days following.

In terms with the order, sliced white bread was projected to cost NIS 6.76 following the pricing cuts, in contrast with the current price NIS 7.05.

Since 2009,  bread prices have not been reduced .
