Ya'alon: IDF to continue routine operations in North, despite wounded soldiers
Addressing the incident that occurred early Wednesday morning along Israel's northern border, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that "four IDF soldiers were injured and are in light and moderate condition during operational activity along the Lebanon border."

He added that the soldiers' activities were"routine" and were designed to "ensure quiet for northern residents in particular and the residents of Israel in general. During the operational activity, the forces went over an explosive device. We are of course investigating the incident, [and seeking to verify] if this is an old or new device."

Ya'alon added that the army's activity was "carried out, and will continue to be carried out responsibly, based on sound judgement, on behalf of the security of the residents of Israel."
