KKL-JNF approves its largest budget ever
Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) has approved its largest ever budget in its 113-year history, allocating NIS 987 million for the year 2014. Including donations, development budgets and matching budgets the total volume will reach up to NIS 1.29 billion for the year, the organization said.

About 30 percent of the budget goes to fixed costs such as firetrucks, security, wages, property taxes and maintenance, according to KKL-JNF. The total operational budget for 2014 will be about NIS 586m., or 60% of the budget, and the remaining 10% will go to exogenous purposes.

The budget is 7% higher than that of 2013 and 35% higher than 2010, jumps that KKL-JNF attributes to investments in efficiency plans and programs to increase revenue.
