ISIS releases new video with Cantlie
Cantile blamed the US and British governments for failing to negotiate with the Jihadists, and "gambling with their lives"
The "Islamic State" released a new and sixth video narrated by British prisoner journalist John Cantlie.

Sitting behind a black background in an orange jump suit, told the story of the failed attempt by the US military to free the Western prisoners from ISIS captivity.

“I will tell you about a failed raid to rescue us and how it feels to be left for dead by your own government."

“On July 4, Independence Day, the Americans did try to get us out of prison. Not by negotiation or prisoner exchange but by an incredibly complex, risky and expensive rescue attempt that failed,” Cantlie says in the video.

He said that the Islamic State had predicted the operation and moved the prisoners before the operation took place.

Cantlie blamed the US and British governments for failing to negotiate with the Jihadists, and "gambling with their lives"

“It’s the worst feeling in the world being left behind like that,” he says. “To be left behind so cynically by the country you thought you knew – is some kind of ultimate betrayal.

“You spend your whole life working, paying taxes, not getting into trouble with the police… paying your bills and for what? The first time you need your country... they turn their back.”

The captured British journalist said that long ago he had accepted the fate that he would be killed by IS.

Cantlie was last seen late October in a video released by Islamic State “reporting” from the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani. In the clip, he narrates from the Turkish-Syria border town wearing black civilian clothing.

The British journalist was kidnapped in Syria by ISIS in November 2012. The American photographer, James Foley, was also taken captive at the time. Foley and three others were beheaded by ISIS in videotaped executions.
