Man killed in car crash suspected of stabbing ex-wife, fleeing Ma'aleh Adumim

Police suspected that an Israeli man who stabbed his ex-wife and former mother-in-law in Ma'aleh Adumim on Wednesday was later killed in a car crash near the southern town of Arad.

Following background checks, police identified the man as the suspect in the stabbing that left his ex-wife, 33, and her mother, 53,  wounded and hospitalized.

Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated the 33-year-old woman in serious condition to Hadassah University Medical Center, on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus. The 53-year-old woman was taken in moderate condition to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem.
