Officer who attacked Arab driver expected to be indicted and fired next week
The Ministry of Justice’s Police Internal Investigation Department is expected to indict police officer Moshe Cohen next week,Channel 2 reported. Meanwhile, a police disciplinary hearing on Wednesday, where Cohen is reportedly expected to be fired, was postponed until next week. The police officer was caught on tape last week violently attacking an Arab truck driver in east Jerusalem. The officer reportedly admitted to assaulting the man during questioning and apologized for his actions, saying he lost his temper and was “ashamed.”
