Netanyahu: New embassy in Rwanda is part of expanding presence in Africa
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Nairobi with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and informed him that Israel would open an embassy in Kigali, capital of Rwanda.

"We are opening a new embassy in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, as part of expanding Israel's presence in Africa and deepening cooperation between Israel and African countries," Netanyahu said.

At the meeting, the two also discussed the possibility of opening a direct airline route between the two countries.
