Families and friends mourned the victims of Thursday's flash flood disaster in southern Israel, in which ten youths were killed after being swept away by a surge in the Tzafit stream, west of the southern part of the Dead Sea, amid intense, unseasonable storms throughout the country. Ella Or, Yael Sadan, Maayan Barhum, Tzur Alfi, Shani Shamir, Romi Cohen, Adam Levy, Gali Balali, Ilan Bar Shalom and Adi Ranen lost their lives in a pre-army academy hike during the storms.
