"British Airways' choice to make its Israel route one of the first lines on which the plane will operate is an expression of confidence by the company in Israel."
British Airways' Tel Aviv-London Heathrow route will become one of the first to be served by its new Airbus A350 aircraft, featuring the company's new "club suite" for business class travelers.

The three-cabin A350 will feature the new 56-seat Club World cabin, 56-seat World Traveller Plus cabin (upgraded economy) and 219-seat World Traveller (economy) cabin.

The new business cabin will be equipped with "club suite" business class seats, including a door for privacy, flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 40% additional storage and 18.5-inch in-flight entertainment screens.

"British Airways' choice to make its Israel route one of the first lines on which the plane will operate is an expression of confidence by the company in Israel, and demonstrates the company's great appreciation for this market," said Yael Katan, British Airways Israel manager.

"British Airways has operated in Israel since 1932, even before the establishment of the State of Israel, and operates three daily flights between Tel Aviv and London in its 'long haul' configuration."

The British carrier promises that the A350, with reduced noise levels, high ceilings and ambient lighting, will leave customers feeling rested, as cabin pressure on the new aircraft is equivalent to an altitude of only 6,000 feet.
