Jordanian authorities nab 2 Muslim Brotherhood men

Jordanian police arrested two members of the kingdom's largest Muslim opposition group, the head of the group's political arm said Monday. Zaki Abu-Rsheid, the head of the Islamic Action Front, said police arrested Mahmoud Jaradat, a hospital employee, and Homam Mohammed Moussa, a university employee, late Sunday in the northeastern city of Zarqa. According to their families, the two men, who are members of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement, were arrested for allegedly forming armed militias. Abu-Rsheid said the two suspects did not have any criminal record, and the Front will appoint lawyers for their defense.
