Bank fee inquiry to end today

In a meeting of the Knesset Bank Fee Inquiry committee on Tuesday, representatives from the Bank Association of Israel balked over many of the recommendations suggested by the committee in its final report, released this week.
In a meeting of the Knesset Bank Fee Inquiry committee on Tuesday, representatives from the Bank Association of Israel balked over many of the recommendations suggested by the committee in its final report, released this week. Claiming that they are capable of governing themselves and that their fees are within reasonable means, the bank representatives, led by Bank Association chairman Moshe Pearl, demanded that the committee reconsider its proposed suggestions. Inquiry committee chairman MK Moshe Kahlon said the committee will consider the claims made by the banks and come to a final conclusion by Wednesday evening.
