Anti-tank mine explodes in Niger capital, journalist killed
A car driven by a radio journalist passed over an anti-tank mine in Niger's capital, and the journalist was killed in the explosion, state-run radio said Wednesday. A passenger was injured in the blast late Tuesday night, the radio report added. It marked the first bomb inside Niger's capital since the start of a Tuareg rebellion in the country's north last year.
