Maccabi Tel Aviv's woes on the road continued Thursday night, with the team losing 93-70 to Unicaja Malaga in Spain.
The yellow-and-blue has now lost its two away games in the Euroleague by an average 20.5 points and is looking nothing like the Final Four contender it hopes to be.
The team struggled against the Spaniards' offense, allowing their opponents to score 66 percent from two-point range. Tel Aviv's attacking play wasn't much better, with the side failing to score more than 74 points for a fourth straight time in continental competition.
Carlos Cabezas led six Malaga players in double-figures, scoring 21 points. Marcus Fizer was top scorer for Maccabi with 15 points, with Will Bynum adding 14 points.
Despite racing to an early 9-2 lead, Maccabi trailed by five points (21-16) after 10 minutes and the hosts led 45-36 at the break.
Tel Aviv was within touching distance of Malaga after three periods (65-57), but the home side was never in any real danger of losing and cruised to a comfortable win.
