Betar Jerusalem has got until May 27 to meet the UEFA club licensing committee's requirements to play in Europe next season.
Two weeks ago, the club was denied a license to take part in continental competitions after it failed to provide the required financial assurances for next season.
However, Betar requested an extension and has now been given until next Wednesday to meet UEFA's demands.
The team of lawyers and accountants working on behalf of Brazilian-born millionaire Jewish businessman Guma Aguiar, who is considering buying Betar, are still assessing the situation within the club.
