Decision comes despite Israel Football Association choosing to cancel all the weekend's soccer matches.

The Israel Basketball Association and the BSL announced on Tuesday that all this weekend's games will go ahead as planned, in accordance with police instructions.
The Israel Football Association chose on Monday to cancel all the weekend's soccer matches, but the IBA and BSL decided to play the games as planned, apart from those scheduled to be played in cities under rocket fire.
"I think the IFA made the wrong decision, but I won't go into their considerations," IBA chairman Shai Shani said. "I think most of the sport in this country is going ahead as planned."
The IBA claimed that as long as the government hasn't announced a state of emergency or a war, it would be a mistake for the different sporting associations to make decisions which could, in the future, hurt the status of Israeli sport abroad.
The IBA would have found itself in a very awkward position had it decided to postpone all games, after assuring FIBA Europe that there's no reason to accept Olympia Larissa's request to reschedule Wednesday's game against Hapoel Jerusalem at the Malha Arena.
Meanwhile, Jerusalem continued its preparations for the EuroChallenge encounter, even though it's still unknown whether the Greeks will actually come to Israel.
On Monday, FIBA Europe told Larissa it did not accept that the team's security concerns were valid and that it must play the game in the Israeli capital as planned.
Larissa approached FIBA once more on Tuesday, requesting to postpone the game again, this time claiming it can't book a flight to Israel.
